Patrol After Action Reports are due no later than May 20th, 2017.
February 5th 1942
Congratulations to all Captains and their crews having achieved success with the evacuation of VIP's from Manila and the sinking of over fifty eight thousand tons of enemy shipping. You should have all by now received your Submarine Combat Patrol Insignia, if not please notify Lt Williams and he will chase it up. Also your Subs have gained their first Battle Star and hopefully there will be a lot more to come.
Congratulations go out to LCDR Kurtis Mayfield of the USS Blackfish, who has been awarded with the Navy Cross and LCDR Dreux Barbier of the USS Catfish, who has been awarded with the Bronze Star.
I know that the port has been fairly busy during the last month, so please take care when leaving port to avoid the larger amounts of traffic. Enjoy the facilities here at Brisbane and ensure that you rest as much as you train, whilst you wait for your Subs to be refitted and repaired; as you will all be going out on patrol at the beginning of next month.
